Like the man says, if you kill a wild turkey on public land, with all the competition that involves, you deserve some credit! It ain’t easy!

I just keep wondering how he expects to bring in that bird by whispering to someone, or the camera, while he is hearing the bird in the distance! Notice how long a time it is before the bird finally comes in, after he last whispers….That bird was getting real desperate, and they usually aren’t! Must have either been later in the day, or later in the year, after all his hens had left, and gone off to lay….

He does some good calling, with that diaphragm, though….(not better than me, though..) I use diaphragm, box, slate, wing-bone, and even a shaker gobble call, on any occasion that I think I need to try something new…I think the fact that he moved on him (changed positions, and areas, which is like what a real hen will do), is what convinced that gobbler to come on in..

Got something to say?
