In a town of 80,000 residents chasing dihydroxymonoxide traces found in public waters and most schools was an April fool’s joke by a local radio jock on a monday morning. Mayor of the town shut schools and caused wide spread unease over the announcement on the local airwaves. By mid-day, All involved in believing the hoax were angry enough to want the “culprit” jailed for his actions – Not their own stupidity, mind you.
Radio jock of the day was fired, taken off the airwaves, reprimanded and waited for the “intelligencia” of the duped to proclaim their findings.
They found they were all very unintelligent, uniformed, gullable and pissed off they were stupid enough to believe it all.
The radio jock was back to work in few days and the public is the wiser, now.
