New York Times: Hunting Wolves Only For Fun
September 9, 2009
Randy Cohen, a comedy writer, weighs in at the New York Times about hunting, ethics, morals and wolves. I don’t think his piece is comedy, although some of it is quite laughable.

Amazing, all these opinions from people who could not survive ten minutes in this country with out their REI package and a guide, writing propaganda bs disinformation from New York city, 3000 miles away from the truth, so far I haven’t had a comment not be censored by the New York Indoctrination Times.

“Unsurprisingly, I believe it is wrong to inflict pain and death unnecessarily on a creature capable of suffering.”
That is exactly what wolves do to elk, deer, hibernating bears, and cougars they catch out in the open which fail to make it to a tree, and to one another when they can not find any thing else to prey on, they resort to cannibalism, they starve, and they move many miles to find other areas with prey..
Culling the wolves is not for fun, it is a very serious matter. To many wolves causes the explanation above to take place. Russian, Canadian, and European documented case history’s ranging over the last 150 years verifies the truth.. Or you can believe 15 years of American myths and propaganda. Your choice.
I know my choice, I am on the ground in Idaho, and a lifetime living between to wilderness areas, and I know what I have been watching with my own eyes for 15 years, and the accounts of this article are not it..

[...] Wednesday I linked you over to a “laughable” article on morals, ethics, wolves and hunting. If that [...]
Here’s a nice update on the wolf issue from the Times:

I’m sick and tired of people trying to push their beliefs on othes. What’s worse is probably 99% of them do not live here or hardly leave the pavement. Yesterday a whole bus load of high schoolers and a couple teachers saw a wolf cross the parking lot at the high school. Guess they should of tried to feed it and get pictures. Leave us alone and worry about your state and city and well take care of our own.
