The straight-body looks like something i used for the same purpose. When it wasn’t hauling hay it was hauling what come out ‘tother end.
In the spring we filled it with leaves. In the fall – fire-wood. Prior to the invention of firewood, it hauled coal for the community. 1947 KB-8 International Harvester
btw, geese are bunching up, milt. Time to get outta here.
I’ve stacked a mess of hay and shoveled a pile of what comes out the other end lately.. 40 more tons of hay, and 400 wheel barrels of what comes out the other end.. I sure do H, I mean love my horse…He took me on a fantastic 15 miles leg up ride yesterday with our mutual friend Jack, the mule..Getting ready to go hunting soon..
Hay-burners! But i like ‘em lots. One I had was like a dog – would go anywhere, do anything. She came off the track and there was no spooking her,
and young enough to be full of it.
