Six Young Wolves Found Dead On U.S. Forest Land In Idaho

August 26, 2009

Let the accusations begin! Officials have located six, what is being described as “juvenile” wolves, dead and decomposing on U.S. Forest Service land north of Fairfield, Idaho. Cause of death has not been determined but evidently there were no wounds or bullet holes.

The Idaho Statesman had a brief story but if you want entertainment, go there and read the comments – the complete range of emotions and accusations. This is only one reason this absolutely ridiculous issue must be resolved.

They’re probably starting to starve…..they ate all the deer and elk, now let them eat their own..

They are decomposing in different stages as well, of course the Maughan site is yelling poison.. Should be some dead crows or magpies around to..That’s a controlled hunt unit, and it has not been worth having a tag for deer or elk over there for years now… Oh and only about 50 miles from my home.. and only about 10 miles from a friends home, who also sees wolves off their front porch to..Hopefully we get the truth of cause of death, but I won’t hold my breath..

It is shameful that I/we have gotten to a point of total distrust all the way around but one of my first questions I asked myself is, “Is this simply coincidental that the announcement was made of ‘decomposed’ juvenile wolves within one week of the Molloy hearing on the injunction to stop the hunt?”

So, whos afraid of who, here? Molloy is afraid of the wackos isn’t he? He’s afraid they will be doing what they are doing right now – going crazy over that no good dog. I’ll do anything to get rid of some or a majority of them. Leeve them to run free is criminal and you will pay for it. Mental retardation anyone?

When he stops the hunt if people still doubt they have lost control of their state government they should no longer doubt it…And if this is not proving a “captured” I.D.F.G. and F.W.S. by special interests groups I don’t know what is.. I’ve lost so much confidence in those two agencies I even think their in on it…

They have to be, greg, or they are stupid and refuse to acknowledge history.

Where was all the outrage over the dead ungulates the wolves left behind?- hidden from everyone. Show some of those pictures. City slickers are being fed fed-lies, again.

This is what Tony McDermott of IDFG had to say about Molloy’s ruling on the injunction to stop the wolf hunts.

“I will have a lot of heartburn with the legal process if an injunction is granted,” McDermott says. “If there’s an injunction, the Endangered Species Act is a farce that has been totally hijacked by environmental organizations for their self-serving purposes.”

Maybe a whacked out wolfie poisioned them to try and prove once again that the states have no clue how to manage a wolf population. Their blaming hunters already and there has been nothing proved. I’d rather shoot an animal anyday than poision it. A bullet is humane compared to poisions.

There are people on both sides who would do this..every group has a traitor, NGOs, – I.D.F.G. Any one could do this… Remember last year just before or post delisting the wolf got shot near Stanley, and Lynn Stone conveniently shows up while its still warm, And who just happens to be down the road loading up and dead elk in persons yard, I.D.F.G. Now we have this six pups show up dead on the door step…If they were poisoned there should be more evidence, a powerful poison once ingested activates and the animals are not going to go far from the source..So there should be more damage showing up there some place, birds, foxes, coyotes…And I.D.F.G. has said wolves are starving and killing one another..The fact is even the small game prey base is suffering in several areas of Idaho…If these pups were on their own, they needed small game to live on.. I doubt we will ever know the truth of it.. Integrity and honesty died of a heart attack..
