Heading North

June 16, 2009

I am hitting the road in about 20 minutes for Fort Kent in Northern Maine. We will get there during the day on Wednesday. Of course Thursday evening is the Maine Moose Lottery drawing. I will be there. If all goes well I will be streaming live video by around 4 p.m. that day doing interviews etc. until 6 p.m. when live drawing begins.

After the Lottery drawing, weather permitting, I will be spending a few days of vacation and hopefully doing my best to drown a worm and have my blood sucked all out from black flies and mosquitoes.

I hope you take some time to tune in on Thursday to the show. Just log onto this site’s home page and follow directions.

Well Tom,I got a lake here in my backyard today(in Leeds),wondering how Fort Kent and that area is fairing in the pouring rain?We were gonna go up to the moose drawing but decided not to.Good thing, all that money and gas to not have my name drawn PLUS it was already on he internet before the drawing was even over and we were getting phone calls from everyone to tell us my name wasn’t even drawn, haha! Having the event is gonna peter out if people come to realize they post the names right off. They did that last year too..some guy sitting next to us, waiting to hear his name be called, got a cell phone call from a relative telling him he got one, that it was already on the internet~Wow! So he sat there all pumped knowing his name was going to be called at some point, haha!
Quack, quack~headed to put my waders on and head down to Cabela’s! Stay dry!

Yeah, we chewed on Danny Martin’s ear quite a bit about publishing the names when they did. We’ll see what happens.

Got something to say?
