Obama’s Moves To Rid U.S. Of Guns. How Far Can You Be Pushed?

*Update* It appears that the ruling to mutilate military spent brass has been reversed.
On Friday last week, I alerted you to the fact that the federal government, under the direction (or at least responsibility of Barack Obama) ordered the mutilation of all military spent brass, used by many for reloading of ammunition. I received an assortment of comments and emails regarding the announcement. Some only focused on the recycling implications of this move while I asked the question if this was a back door move to further reduce the supply of ammunition to this country and incrementally rid the country of guns.
Today, in an article in Shooting Wire by Jim Shepherd, we find that this move might have moved Mr. Shepherd to begin having second thoughts on the intent of this administration.
Now, many observers – and not just those on the pro-gun side of the discussion – believe the country is hurtling toward a confrontation.
The catalyst might be any one of several flashpoint issues, but both groups seem to believe a reckoning is unavoidable.
And that coming from a man who in the past admits that he’s passed off most of the chatter about incrementalism as “Internet hysteria”. Forget that he seems to discredit the passionate work of many to keep the issue of gun rights fresh in all our minds, which tends to keep us all on top of issues like the announcement of the mutilation of military brass. Us “hysterical” Internetters seemed to get the story out a few days sooner than some……ahem.
Evidently this announcement seems to be a turning point for Jim Shepherd.
Today, however, a report that has nothing to do with rhetoric, hyperbole or rumor.
A very disturbing report that points to a very real assault on ammunition supplies.
The Department of Defense has issued a directive that bans the sale of military brass to ammunition re-manufacturers.
Without that brass, a very large dent is put into civilian ammunition supplies.
Whatever it takes I guess to awaken more to what many of us have been talking about and warning others of. Now that “reality” has set in, all this hysteria, rumor and hyperbole has a bit more meaning.
People are waking up more and more each day. There’s always been talk of “some day” and “they’ll never get my guns!”, etc. That’s always been talk. Are we now actually moving closer to testing those statements?
Rush is the key word for the Obama administration. Rush bills and executive orders through before anyone has a chance to read and discover what’s really behind these moves. The Internet provides a means for information to travel at warp speed. You can cast off that information and label it as you see fit, but if you do a little shopping around of your own, you’ll learn which sites provide reliable information based on fact not rumor, hyperbole or the “hysteria” Shepherd talks of.
This requires some work on your part but if you care you’ll do it. Shepherd even calls these “uncertain times”. Let’s move beyond that and get active, better educated and up to date on what’s going on and then maybe we can quiet these uncertain times and return a little bit of sense and stability before Obama drives us into rebellion and worse.

Just try and find 357 mag. or 38 special ammo. let alone the brass. I’m trying to buy components for all my guns and handguns and it’s almost impossible to get some things. Soon as they get it in the store it’s gone. I think a lot of people are scared for the first time about what this dumb-ass administration is going to try and do on the sly. Heard today that they’re even blaming us and our guns for all thecrap going on in Mexico, therefore they want all the semi-autos out of americans hands. Yea, that’ll stop those drug lords south of the border from being so mean, geesh!!!!

I wonder how many people in the US own a firearm? How about Multiple Firearms, like myself . My gun safe holds 25 long arms, and as many hand guns. It’s stuffed full!
Can anyone disarm the US? I consider that the Feds don’t have the Balls to push. An armed uprising is not what they need. Relax and give them enough rope and they will surely hang themselves. When President Obama and his merry band of nitwits get voted out, then like now we the people can reverse all this mess.

(Just in case.) There are patriotic Christians, organizing Man Camps,
Week long or weekend getaways, With names like Friends of the Malitia or Armor of righteousness. Joining together to fellowship with the lord and study scripture. Along with relaxing games of Paint Ball, Skeet Shooting, Target Practice, running, jumping, climbing etc.
A few years ago openly advertising such camps would have seemed incorrect politicaly. But today? you better sign up quick because the seats to these Holy Word seminars sell out overnight.
I’m seeing peoples attitudes towards our Government change, and not for the better.
It is finally getting recognized for the den of vipers it really is. We had a great government once, it was mortally wounded in 1868 with the 14th and got real sick ever since…The fight against those who would ruin it were those who attempted to defeat it being a reality prior to 1776.. The war for Freedom and Liberty did not end just because our founders ratified some documents..And we are losing that war big time right now, and have been for 145 years due to heads in the sand.
So, we have a world of perverts. We have a world of people who live in moral permissiveness. We have a world of liars and cheaters and thieves and robbers and gossipers and disobedient and loveless and brutal, proud boasters because God let them go.
People say, “Oh God in the future is going to judge America.” God is judging America right now! Can’t you see it? Can’t you see a whole nation gone after perverted sinfulness and reaping the consequences of its own sin? God’s judgment is at work right now. And our culture if it reflects anything reflects the utter meaninglessness, the utter despair and the loneliness and the lostness and the fragmentation and the absence of identity that results when man is cut off from God.
One writer said, “What God…without God there are no abiding truths, there are no lasting principles, there are no norms and man is cast upon a sea of speculation and skepticism and attempted self-salvation.
Because when they knew God they glorified Him not as God neither were thankful but became empty in their thinking and their foolish heart was darkened. In other words, they had the knowledge of God and they refused the knowledge of God. They rejected it. It was all theirs. Still, they turned their back on it.
Rejection led to rationalization. “They then professed themselves to be wise and thus they became the biggest fools of all, for who is a greater fool than he who is a fool and thinks he’s not?” And so man has revelation, followed by rejection, followed by rationalization in which his empty imaginations tell him that he is really wise.
And the fourth step in the successive fall of man is religion without true Gospel teaching. “He then changes the glory of the incorruptible God, the true God into an idol, an idol made in the image of men and birds and beasts and snakes and bugs.” And he worships everything but the true God. Religion is not man at his highest, religion is man at his lowest. For this type of religion is idolatry and idolatry is man in the pits, for idolatry violates the first commandment, “Thou shalt have…what?…no other gods before Me.” And he second, “Thou shalt make no graven images.”
And so man starts at revelation, descends to rejection, descends to rationalization and descends finally to religion– man made Satan-inspired demonic religion that has absolutely no truth in it and no power to restrain sin.
At this juncture, God lets men go. Why? Because they have gone so far away away from Him. Because you will have none of Me, I give you up. You have forsaken Me and I forsake you. That’s the story of man. The human race is not on an ascent to God, the human race is on a descent from God. They’re running as fast as they can away from His presence and reality. And they have come to the pit of religion. And once you come to the pit of false religion, you have violated the first and foremost commandment and that is that you should love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. You have made other gods, you have blasphemed the truth of God and you are at the worst possible level of human existence. And at that point, God says I gave them up.
