I Don’t Want To Earn Money The Old Fashioned Way
December 1, 2008
Earlier today I made a tongue in cheek comment about Skinny Moose Media not going to receive any bailout money from TARP (Troubled Asset Rescue Plan). Maybe I spoke too soon. Michelle Malkin is saying that there’s an effort underway in Connecticut (the Constitution State of all names) to bailout the newspaper industry.
If this continues, I can just retire my half worn out keyboard and ailing computer, dust off my fly rod and go fishing while the government takes care of me.
The way I got it figured is this. I heard on the radio on Friday that TARP should be renamed to TWERP (The Wallstreet Executives Retirement Plan). I can claim my share and retire on it. I really don’t need much. What with my new government meaning to care for my every need, I could live okay on just one or two million. Then I can sit back and explain to my grandchildren how I retired and didn’t even have to do anything except lie, cheat and steal.
Aaaaaah! The good life!
