The other important historical tragedy of this story is the attempted cover-up and twisting of factual events and eyewitness reports of that days events which cost the young man his life…attempts to blame a bear, by pro-wolfers. No sense even attempting denial here of what lies they are guilty of, it is a matter of Canadian Court Records. Those city people, and REI wanna be’s would do well to stay in their warm cozy bars shooting toy guns at imagination. Easier to swallow lies that way…
Just like where the really big, bull gators in the deep swamps here in Florida reside, there are a few places where the foolhardy venture at their own risk…And I suspect some of the few “missing” people who never turn up are sitting in one of their bellies…and they can scour the woods for weeks and never find a trace…..Of course, they’re just too “educated” to realize that…
I would love to skulk about in them thar gator woods with my camera, and see a toady gator for a photo opportunity.
Just as long as you see the gator before the gator sees you…..some of the really big boys you don’t want to mess with…or even take any chances of messing with..
I once walked an extra mile back to the truck, just to get my .44 mag handgun, when I had to search for the deer I had shot at. A rifle in your hand is too unwieldy if a gator gets you….
Come and visit sometime, and I’ll teach you how to grunt ‘em up! (sounds a little like a turkey yelp)…
