Boy, it sure didn’t take them long to figure out just how effective the wolf is. We’ve know for a few years that they were knocking the hell out of the calf crops. Bears are pretty hard on elk calves to but at least they don’t kill the cow along with the calf and at least they eat the calf instead of just killing it and moving on to the next one. SS
