The Rednecks Of Pennsylvania……Bitter, Clinging To Guns

October 26, 2008

It just doesn’t want to go away does it? As a reminder to readers, below is a photo once again of my bitter friends from Pennsylvania, all of whom are now labeled rednecks by one John Murtha.

And to add to this continuing saga of the non-tolerant left, Doug Giles of TownHall, shares “Pennsylvanian Voters: You Might Be a Redneck If . . .”

• If you bitterly love your guns, Jesus, apple pie, deer hunting, blonde-haired, blue-eyed girls, baseball, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, then you might be a redneck.

Giles offers a complete menu of “you might be a Pennsylvania redneck if…” scenarios. Don’t miss it!

I’m proud of my Pennsylvania upbringing. Sure, like most young people when the urge to see what’s out there hit I took off, and was gone for quite awhile. Finally came back home. Funny thing, what I was looking for was right here in PA the whole time. Like most of the east coast states that sit astride the Appalachian mountain mountains, You can enjoy “red neck” activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, camping the wonders of the outdoors. Church on Sunday’s and big family dinners. You take care of your own!

Then John Murtha! I could not believe how this man divided the state. I guess it was coming! was a time both parties were more or less on the same page, the for the people page.
Now the page is smaller it’s just for enlightened people of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia not us rednecks that reside in the rest of the state.

Someone else said it better than me:

Boot Murtha: The Change America Deserves
    By Michelle Malkin
    October 24, 2008

    Lesson: Slander has consequences.

Last week, Murtha derided his own constituents as racial bigots.

He told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, “There’s no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area.”

It’s a sentiment Murtha’s man Barack Obama infamously voiced at a San Francisco fundraiser in April, when he said small-town Pennsylvanians were “bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

After initially backing away from his Obama-inspired trashing of Pennsylvania voters, Murtha dug a deeper hole — telling a Pittsburgh television station that “this whole area, years ago, was really redneck.”

Murtha’s constituents are ready to throw the bum out. And not a moment too soon.

The Rednecks are stupid, being decent, kind, hospitable, and honoring the rights of others to believe how they like, even if it was a little queerish at times, was their business, private and protected under that great document with those rights, But soon the lands became over run with the progressives, they wanted to get rid of the rednecks document of freedoms for all, we are already free they said, your document is worthless. We will be a wonderful world community sharing in all the things we want together, you don’t need those guns and you don’t need to hunt, we got packaged meat at our stores. We can let the foxes live with the hens. The rednecks stepped back, whoa, wait a minute all these things have been tried before and failed, AH YOU STUPID BITTER REDNECKS CLINGING TO YOUR SACRED DOCUMENTS AND THOSE BIBLES AND GUNS ARE BITTER AND ANGRY. We want to Change the world, on this great idea we found, we are still trying to figure it out and we don’t know what it is yet but lets do it anyhow. The Messiah has come to hold our hands…..again.

The communist paper in Anchorage, of all places, God I wish
they would move to China, is a shit pit. All of it.

The back ‘o my neck is gettin’ hot and gritty
I’m way fed up with the crap from the city.

Stay where you are ‘n don’t come here.
We’ve had plenty of what is queer.

    Over-run with senseless woe
It’s o.k. to call me Joe.

I signed to serve and will to the end.
God and Country is our only friend.

Defenders of liberty and the seakers of truth.
Re-capture the minds of our precious youth.

Set them right, in the way they’ll go.
They will be looked up to, don’t you know.

No votes for non-citizens, no illegals on our land.
Pledge allegiance, please, and give us a hand.

On another shore where men are not free.
Is a place where you won’t see me.

Pack it in and get there soon.
or I’ll see your ass at high noon.

Land of the free and home to the brave.
Guns and Bible is what I crave.

PA has a VERY BIG COAL RESERVE! the US generates almost 50% of it’s energy from Coal (Imported Coal) Bitter Small Town Red Neck ex coal miners?

    E. Resources Opposed by the Sierra Club

There is no such thing as “clean coal.” The coal fuel cycle, from mining to coal sludge impoundments and disposal of tailings and fly ash, causes extensive pollution of air, water, land, the food chain, and local communities.

WE CAN”T MINE IT HERE! WE CANT DRILL FOR IT HERE! so we are solely dependent on Hostile Foreign Governments for our daily I Want it all now.

I might as well just sit down to pee, start eating grass and seeds. Tip Toe around singing Kum-Bi-Ya.
