Who’s Inciting Rage? Who’s Not Reporting It?
Posted by Tom Remington on October 15, 2008
I believe it was a reader here at the Black Bear Blog that made a feeble attempt to smear the McCain/Palin campaign duo by showing how their speeches and rallies were inciting their followers to violence. One would have to be a total idiot to not acknowledge the fact that at some of their rallies, a handful of zealots got out of control and yelled things quite inappropriate.
The media however is quite guilty of embellishing the stories in order to carry out their agenda of getting Obama, their messiah, elected. Little did we hear about John McCain telling those in one crowd that their behavior was unacceptable.
Being a total idiot is one thing but being a blinded, biased idiot who refuses to see the whole story is completely inexcusable.
Warning!!! Michelle Malkin is a woman - for those who seem to have a problem with women in places of authority. Today, Malkin’s column addresses the other side of the story that the media refuses to report - the out-of-control rage so wonderfully displayed by the left.
Malkin displays a shopping list of events that have taken place that never get reported by the media and yet also shares the comments and reactions from the media on the few isolated accounts that have transpired at McCain’s campaign events. One reporter went so far as to ask VEEP hopeful, Joe Biden, if he was concerned for the safety of Barack Obama.
Maybe if one were to take the time to examine what’s really going on out there, the same could certainly be asked about John McCain and Sarah Palin.
Of course some on the left deem it acceptable behavior to exercise their First Amendment right to wear a T-shirt that reads, “Sarah Palin is a C***”, or to proclaim during a concert tour that “I’m going to kick her ass”, in referring to Sarah Palin. Let’s also include the ever inciting array of artwork.
Malkin’s list is small actually. Here in Florida a man used full-sized cutouts of Obama and McCain and mounted them on his front lawn. The two are displayed in a way that shows McCain chasing Obama across the front lawn. You might want to know what’s so bad about that? McCain is dressed in KKK garb. The man says it’s his Halloween decoration. By the way, where’s the outrage from the black community on this?
For a more complete look at more rage-inciting events, Malkin at her blog, also posts up videos, artwork and events going back from the beginning, most of which none of us have ever heard of or seen.
I have no problem with anyone pointing out when McCain supporters act like idiots. What I have a problem with is when that same someone refuses to look at all sides and reports them accordingly.

Slimeballs all the way. The local biasnews anchor comment be-
fore signing off for the evening was something to the tune of: “Well, it seems V.P. candidate Palin said she prays and we would like to know if you think it would hinder her perfor-
mance should she become V.P.”
What ignorance.

I well respect the power of the press…in this case, the TV media, who have continued a bias coverage of all things political for some time now…That respect is one of their power only….for their character and moral principles are so lacking as to be insignificant.
Here where I live and many other places, where people refuse to spend $30. or more a month for dish or cable….the three, ABC, CBS and NBC are all you can get…Their liberal bias is so secure, that unless you have no concept of what’s happening, you would think a conservative is an antique relic, that needs throwing in the local dump…I have to admit the internet opens the way the same as talk radio in giving a better picture of the “rest of the story”…

George Manos, the 75-year-old Republican, told police that Edith Walker, the 73-year-old Democrat, jumped on his back and struck him in the head three to four times with her fists. Manos said two other elections workers had to pull Walker off his back, according to a report filed with Cuyahoga Falls police.
Manos said it happened after he accused Walker of ballot tampering, and he wants to prosecute.

Whether it’s a grandma voiding a ballot or a national organization systemically engaging in coercive and illegal tactics, the election process should be taken seriously. Free elections are the foundation of American society, and if that process is compromised, then we lose what makes this country great. If people will lie, cheat, and steal in order to get elected, you can bet that they will lie, cheat, and steal in order to stay elected.

Wm. F. Buckley’s son (National Review) has shown his maverick and independent streak by actually dissenting with what he was “supposed” to write!
He endorsed Senator Obama in his National Review column!
The magazine said it received single digit complaints and he offered to resign from commenting (as he owns 1/7 stock in the magazine) and the WIMPS accepted it.
I guess you have to think LOCK STEP with their magazine preaching that preaches freedom.
The magazine should have responded, as the late WM F Buckley used to say to writers threatening to cancel their subscriptions:
“Cancel your own damn subscription!”
The Republican party is turning to mush and losing all the intellectuals from their tent while they invite the red necks in.

As far as the Acorn issue, the people who were volunteering were just lazy and stupid and “pretended” they were getting registrations. That can happen with any organization.
Barack did not endorse this and it’s an abomination to accuse him of it.
Besides, it CAN’T result in more votes for Democrats anyway as the “registered voters” won’t be actually voting.
DUH.

That’s right Bea, it’s your story. Tell it any way you like.

Bea - You are so uninformed and misinformed. Once in a while you show us glimmers of hope, like in your rant above about Buckley and the National Review, yada, yada, yada. Then you show your real side by making a moronic statement like: “The Republican party is turning to mush and losing all the intellectuals from their tent while they invite the red necks in.”
This shows your intolerance and prejudice towards others not like you. It also puts you in a light the you think you are better than those so-call red necks, which answers everyone’s questions as to why you exemplify such hate and wrath toward Sarah Palin.
Attempting to support an argument by calling volunteer workers for ACORN lazy and stupid is, well……lazy and stupid.
If it CAN’T as you say, result in more votes for the democrats, then why has a judge ordered that all early voters in Ohio be checked for validity.
You give a shit attitude doesn’t fly well especially for us here in Florida. A handful of illegal votes cast in 2000 could have and may have been the difference. Don’t be so quick to dispose of the effort to illegally register voters. You obviously know nothing about the registration process.

Bea,
LoLouder! Concerning Buckley’s son.. You’ve got to be kidding….he has none of his fathers wit, integrity, or character or fortitude! Another second hand nanny….”back door”, indeed, that’s all he had at the National Review which he inherited from his father. I’m thinking of the similarity of Reagan’s son when he spoke of Reagan at the DNC….maybe another whimpy, effeminate, spoiled brat, nothing compared to his father….I don’t even think he knows what conservatism is!
Read his column and even he knows his father would be rolling in his grave. http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-10-10/the-conservative-case-for-obama/
Sometimes fathers don’t leave much of a lagacy in their sons…

At one time during last nights debate did I hear Barry whining about someone at a Scranton Pa McCain/Palin rally shout out KILL HIM when his name was mentioned!
SCRANTON – The agent in charge of the Secret Service field office in Scranton said allegations that someone yelled “kill him” when presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s name was mentioned during Tuesday’s Sarah Palin rally are unfounded.
The Scranton Times-Tribune first reported the alleged incident on its Web site Tuesday and then again in its print edition Wednesday. The first story, written by reporter David Singleton, appeared with allegations that while congressional candidate Chris Hackett was addressing the crowd and mentioned Obama’s name a man in the audience shouted “kill him.”
Agent Bill Slavoski said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment.
“I was baffled,” he said after reading the report in Wednesday’s Times-Tribune.
He said the agency conducted an investigation Wednesday, after seeing the story, and could not find one person to corroborate the allegation other than Singleton.
Slavoski said more than 20 non-security agents were interviewed Wednesday, from news media to ordinary citizens in attendance at the rally for the Republican vice presidential candidate held at the Riverfront Sports Complex. He said Singleton was the only one to say he heard someone yell “kill him.”
“We have yet to find someone to back up the story,” Slavoski said. “We had people all over and we have yet to find anyone who said they heard it.”
Yet attesting to his “Character” Barry Hussein Obama brought up this unfounded remark in front of a national audience. Could it be he was telling a deliberate LIE? Look see how they are! The media has gone past pretending, now It just out right spits in your face.
Who is dividing our Country? (that’s a long list lets just say man) and why? In my opinion (and I could be wrong) to kill all personal freedoms, Remove Christianity and replace it Islam, Impose Sharia Law World wide. Big oil is the bankroll and Man’s desire to be his own God the motivator.
