Humane Society Of U.S. Supports Obama

Posted by Tom Remington on October 7, 2008

Doug Giles, Townhall.com, attacks Barack Obama for accepting the endorsement of the Humane Society of the United States and taking their filthy money for his campaign.

This past week Obama added to his rogue gallery of support groups another radical band of anti-American spirit lunatics. No, I’m not talking about an additional endorsement by a new terrorist group or Black Muslim faction, or pro-abortion loon, or another communist cabal, or an extra Castro/Chavez-like dictator but rather the Humane Society (HSUS).

Y’know, opposites might attract in love, according to Paula Abdul (and who are we to question her wisdom?), but that’s not true in elections. Special interest axe-grinders look for sympathetic co-belligerents in their cause, and the Human Society found one in Obama and not in McCain/Palin, chiefly because Sarah puts the bam in Bambi and McCain favors fishing. I can’t live without either.

See what happens when old Americans played nice during WWII and after wiping hitlers ass with the Popes face we let the Communist Soviet Russians go home and rebuild their country, instead of following the very wise advise of old Iron Pants himself and rolling on in there and wasting those commies for good, Now instead of the commies being an endangered species the old Americans are. Brilliant. Just freaking Brilliant. Next these sonsabitches will want T-Rex resurrected and loosed upon society at large. Thats it, thats it, Ive had it, somebody hand me a Rod, Im reloading, Im gonna get those bastards before they get me…..PATTON PATTON where did you go……..Obama will never be my President, never. He is SCUM=Socialist Communist Universalist Marxist SCUM.. Yep, I really hate em now…..OBUMMA….Born in KENYA.

    5. Bea Says:

The HSUS does ALOT for animals.

In particular, they are helping stopi abuses of factory farming.

Or is factory farming abuses OK with all of you? Where live hens and chickens have their beaks cut off, they’re stuffed in tiny cages with no room to move, pigs can’t even turn around.

Sorry, boys, but I have compassion for animals AND people, unlike most of you here.

    6. jes Says:

Bea, if they were limited to the abuses in stopping chickens from living with their beaks cut off…and pigs not being able to run around…we would all agree with you! Hunter aren’t sadists, in fact, we have and continue to promote wildlife and their habitat, it’s the only way to insure their survival! And it’s not just so we can kill them! We LOVE the deer, elk and game….and appreciate them…And even if we kill and eat them, it doesn’t mean we don’t truly appreciate them and the wild that they exist in! That’s just some of the reasons we hunt…not just to kill! After the kill, the work starts….hauling, skinning, butchering, packaging…And even the work is appreciated, because it means we are more self sufficient, more independent!

And the HSUS is entirely against hunting! Without question! Period! Check their website, look at their history! Can you dispute this FACT!??? Doesn’t appear that you do have compassion for people, at least not for hunters! So why are you on a hunting blog? To tell us that we’re wrong to kill and eat our own meat? Are you a vegetarian? If not…then shut up. Go away and join the HSUS and fight the “terrible” hunters…that’s what the rest of your kind do.

    7. Jim Richards Says:

Jes, your beating a dead horse trying to make people like Bea understand hunting though I appreceate your effort. They is no saving this woman.

    8. Greg Farber Says:

I don’t eat chicken or pork. In fact I don’t eat industrialized meats at all. Range fed beef, elk, deer, grouse. If I can’t get those items then I eat fruits, vegy’s and shelled hemp seeds with out meat next to them, no big deal. I never did cut no beaks off no bird, so bugger off miss beatrical. All though, I am not against the crucification of a wolf in my cross hair when the chance arrives in front of me. Other than that beatrical is the dumbest bitch who wouldn’t go away I ever read.

    9. Bea Says:

OK — then you must also be for CANNED HUNTING as this website promotes the Safari Club.

Seems only you can support an organization where you pick and choose the issues……

I don’t need to be ’saved.’ I have seen the light……

    10. George Says:

thanks for reminding me about all the good work my hunting dollars gets put to:

In North America, SCI Foundation focuses on wildlife management for big game species and wildlife habitat conservation. We help support excellent research, science-based wildlife management practices, and conservation advocacy with the federal and state governments.

In Alaska, the most difficult challenge is the decline in moose populations due to lack of grazing acres and predation by black bears. We’re working here to support the development of private land wildlife management. More than 33 million acres of privately-held wildlife habitat are currently closed to sport hunting and reserved only for subsistence hunting. Wildlife management programs that generate significant income to landowners while conserving wildlife and increasing hunting opportunities is a primary goal.

And again I’m impressed with the SCIENTIFIC approach!

SCIF continues to support research on predator-prey interactions, particularly in the western US. These studies are the scientific foundation of future management decisions regarding how predators and their big-game prey populations will be managed. The impact of wolves, bears, and mountain lions on western big-game populations is critical in making these management decisions. The scientific studies funded by SCIF indicate that each of these species, while capable of taking big game animals at any time of the year, is actually more effective at taking certain species under specific conditions. The long-term cumulative impact of this predation is still unknown; however, they all point to some level of reduced abundance of big game animals. While this sounds like bad news for hunters, the actual impact on hunting opportunities (if both predators and prey are carefully managed) may not be as great as many fear. However, additional research will be needed to help clarify all of these issues and to identify optimum population ratios. SCIF will continue to support this research.

    13. Bea Says:

George, so if you’re for “science” first, that would probably put you in the realm of being an atheist or at the very least, agnostic, am I correct?

Since “science” is everything? And “all good decisions are based on science?”

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION WINS IN ARIZONA COURT

Arizona Federal Judge Mary Murguia ruled that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service can continue to maintain water sources for desert Bighorn Sheep in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge.

Wilderness Watch and several other environmental groups sought to remove the two water developments. Safari Club International, the NRA, the Arizona Bighorn Sheep Society, the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep and other
      HUNTER-CONSERVATION ORGANIZATIONS!
Joined with the USFWS to argue in court that water should be provided to this dwindling heard of sheep.

Environmental groups asserted that, in renovating the artifical water developments, the USFWS had violated National Environmental Policy and Wilderness Act requirements.

However, since the year 2000, Kofa’s sheep herd diminished in number from over 800 to less than 400. State and Federal biologists (scientists) concluded that the area’s prolonged drought was a significant factor in the loss of the sheep population and determined that permanent sources of water, like these artificial water developments, would help counteract the impact of the dry conditions and help increase or at least stabilize the population. Thankfully, sensible conservation prevailed in this case!

No one else cared about these Bighorn Sheep. Carrying buckets of water into the desert to save a handful of what’s left of one of the largest herds of Bighorn in the US Yet some people would rather see them die out because of thirst.

Doesn’t modern science invalidate the Bible?

      science and the bible

Q: “Don’t scientific discoveries conflict with the Bible, even invalidate a lot of what is in the Bible?”

A: Perhaps a surprise to many, but not to all people, science often corroborates what is already recorded in the Bible. Let’s consider a few examples…
Science and the Bible: Species reproducing the same species

The Bible says that God created everything according to its kind (Genesis 1). Well, that’s what science shows us. We can’t find fossils that show a transition from species to species because there aren’t any. This agrees with the Bible.

Science and the Bible: Human reproduction

Some people find it absurd that the entire human race might have come from just two people (Adam and Eve). However, science is about what we can observe, test. Human reproduction is observable, testable. A man and a woman can produce a third person, and so on, over time, until you get a larger population. Science corroborates this. Any other kind of human population generation has not been observed/tested by science. (Mitochondrial DNA was Eve our mother)

      Science and the Bible: Germs

People didn’t understand the biological nature of germs until relatively recently (the last few hundred years). Yet in the Old Testament cleanliness laws and food laws, you have an obvious understanding of germs. But those instructions from God came thousands of years before man even understood how germs were transmitted, or even what they were.

Science and the Bible: Shape of the earth and order of the universe

The Bible talked about the “circle of the earth” long before Galileo did, when men thought the earth was flat. And before man understood astronomy, the Bible said that God had fixed the stars in the sky, keeping them in their place. Today we would say that it’s gravity that does that, but again, God beat us to the punch. God is the one who put the forces in place, who gave order to the universe. And we, by His timing, have come to observe that order and understand the forces. It was this assumption (a God-ordered universe) that was the scientific starting point for many great scientists (Sir Isaac Newton for example).

The forces and the order are observable, but what has brought them about? Today scientists are looking for a grand unified field theory — glue that brings quantum theory and astrophysics under one force/theory.

Consider that God Himself is the unified field they’re looking for. It is God Himself who decides that things will work differently on an astronomical level than on a microscopic level. Size is relative and irrelevant. Things should work the same on both the astronomic and the microscopic levels, but they don’t. Hence there are baffled scientists trying to make sense of things, because God is not their starting point.

Even if a force is discovered that explains things (like gravity), you’re still left with the question of how the force got there.

      Science and the Bible: Conclusion

The point is, if the Bible shows an understanding of medicine and science that pre-dates man’s understanding of medicine and science, then we can only conclude that there is a Mind out there who is way ahead of us.

Rather than try to explain Him away at every turn, the more insightful conclusion might be to acknowledge His great design and creativity. If He’s there and He’s real, we can’t dethrone Him. He’s in charge and nothing can change that.

Scientific discoveries are merely observing, understanding and using systems that He has already designed. What God has told us in the Bible about Himself, our world and our purpose, is a great starting place to understanding this life.

    16. George Says:

Your right Bea. I was an atheist at one time. And like most atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly.

What is it about atheists that we would spend so much time, attention, and energy refuting something that we don’t believe even exists?! What causes us to do that?

When I was an atheist, I attributed my intentions as caring for those poor, delusional people…to help them realize their hope was completely ill-founded. To be honest, I also had another motive. As I challenged those who believed in God, I was deeply curious to see if they could convince me otherwise.

Part of my quest was to become free from the question of God. If I could conclusively prove to believers that they were wrong, then the issue is off the table, and I would be free to go about my life.

I didn’t realize that the reason the topic of God weighed so heavily on my mind, was because God was pressing the issue.

I have come to find out that God wants to be known. He created us with the intention that we would know him. He has surrounded us with evidence of himself and he keeps the question of his existence squarely before us.

It was as if I couldn’t escape thinking about the possibility of God. In fact, the day I chose to acknowledge God’s existence, my prayer began with, “Ok, you win…”

It might be that the underlying reason atheists are bothered by people believing in God is because God is actively pursuing them.

You want accuracy on religion ? OK, here, the Catholic Church via the Vatican CREATED the Muslim FAITH to be used to attack North African Christian Nations and Slaughter true Christians, and Jews, the trade off was the vatican thought its creation would give them Jerusalem on a silver platter, oops, the Muslim creation turned on the Vatican and kept the sacred mountain building their DOME OF THE ROCK MOSQUE on the vary site the VATICAN wanted for their dream of a Rebuilt SOLOMONS TEMPLE. In a nut shell this created 1700 years of Muslim Catholic wars called Crusades fighting over that Pile of Rock due to its RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE, which is very Important to the Popers to appear more real some day when they do get that TEMPLE REBUILT. The Muslim faith like the Roman Catholic faith are FRAUDS and creations of SATAN, Not Jesus or any other deity. Obama is a fool, So is his competition McCain…We have been involved in a Holy War since birth, America since James Town. Try some real history and real scripture in your life instead of the spoon fed BULL SHIT Americans have been swallowing for 100+ years, ya know its called being DUPED into indoctrinated head in the sand stupidity, even duplicity. ;-(

    20. Greg Farber Says:

Colin Powell Lied at the United Nations claiming Iraq has weapons of Mass Destruction, 1.5 million Muslims have been killed since Powell told that lie. Including several American service members. Powell is not credible. You are spoon fed, you have admitted it…You “Ask questions” and others feed you their knowledge. I do not have opinions, I have Congressional Globes, Annals, Records collected from Congress, Collections from the Library of Congress, Miro-Imaged Documents from Vatican archives, stolen by defecting Jesuit Priests who upon learning the truths about the deceptions of the Catholic Church and its creation as a tool of Deception the Muslim religion knew they must expose this fraud to the world. 30 plus years of research and books/documents collecting is EVIDENCE not opinions. EVIDENCE backed by EVIDENCE is FACT. Go look in your mirror and laugh at your self. http://blog.sunvalleyonline.com/index.php/2008/10/21/middle-east-chaos-and-other-truths-left-un-told/
You should have asked a lot more questions. The Muslims circle the KAABA a 50ft cube-like stone structure, their house of God, well this is no different than your Saturnalian Masonic Black Square worship of Catholicism. It is all Free Masonry. You might wonder being Catholic, and then changing to Muslim what attracted you, the same basic thing you were already used too. Both religions are counterfeits.

    21. Greg Farber Says:

Stay away from that nun at all costs. LOL. Catholic Roman religion is based on SATURN EL which was under the domination of Egypt, This religion is Egyptian Symbology, of course its hidden. For example surely you have seen the IHS insignia, ISIS HORUS SEB, pagan gods. So ISIS was the first main divinity, now with the coming of Ahknaton, the worship was then changed to the worship of AMEN-RA, The Sun. This is where we get sun-ray from, from AMEN-RA. Amen-Ra was worshipped in the temples as Gods Sun/Son. At the end of the services they would say Amen, because they were sending a prayer to God through Amen-Ra. Gods/Sun/Son. The Egyptians of then, and the Shriner Free masons of today under the thumb of the Jesuit order worship the Sun and believe the planet Saturn is Lucifer. The black square represents SATURN, Thus the symbol associated with Saturn is the black mortar board on the heads of colledge graduates, or the sacred black cube that Muslims Pilgrimage to at Mecca, black was the color of the planet-god Saturn. Thus all high level 33rd degree and Higher Free masons worship Lucifer, SATURNALIAN. This is just one of the many hundreds of symbolic connections between these two counterfeit religions. The two faiths are almost identical and both wish to rule earth with an iron fist. Go look at the Egyptian goddess Isis with a child Horus in her arms, they changed this later to Represent Mary with baby Jesus in her arms, basically the Catholic faith is diguised Egyption Hyksos Dogma. The low level priests are un-aware of this knowledge as well, as are most Catholics, as I was once, the mass of evidence is simply to large to put here. We are simply surrounded by language my friend, Symbology, numerology, Architecture, sex and the stars, signs and symbols of free masonry, I simply learned to read them, in order to find truth and understand my enemy’s who wish to decieve us all, did you know english has eight different meanings…? Most political decievers are using the Hegelian Dialectic, a very brilliant reverse english if you will. I understand them, thus I try to get people to stop being duped by them, I suppose I steal about 12 mind controlled people out of 100 from the decievers. Thats my job, as well as being a historian.

    22. Lee Says:

“Colin Powell Lied at the United Nations claiming Iraq has weapons of Mass Destruction,” The Bush-Chenny administration convinced him that this was true - don’t blame Powell.

    23. Greg Farber Says:

Oh, the Bush-Cheney crowd duped Powell, but We can be Sure that Powell has not been duped by the Obama-Biden Crowd, nice of them to forgive Powell for making such an alarming mistake like that, a mistake that got us into a 10 trillion dollar hole, 4k americans killed and 1.5 million foreigners killed that we know about. Now Libral Americans are being duped by Powell again, believing Obama/Biden will CHANGE this country into something better. RIGHT. Whats worse is McCain will not either. Neither of these parties will. Whatta Joke.
