    Climate Change A “Hysterical Psuedo-Religion”

Posted by Tom Remington on September 6, 2008

Uh, oh! Another “nutcase who denies scientific fact”! Great Britain’s Environment Minister, Sammy Wilson, described the views of the “greenies” on global warming, “a hysterical psuedo-religion”.

“Resources should be used to adapt to the consequences of climate change, rather than King Canute-style vainly trying to stop it,” said the minister.

He also called out the tactics used by the “greenies” to demean those who dare disagree.

“The tactic used by the “green gang” is to label anyone who dares disagree with their view of climate change as some kind of nutcase who denies scientific fact,”

And Wilson’s claim was reinforced by comments made from a representative of one of the “greenies”.

John Woods of Friends of the Earth said Mr Wilson was “like a cigarette salesman denying that smoking causes cancer”.

Nature abhors a vacuum and Al Gore - Mother Nature himself - is filling the pro-drilling advertising void with TV ads promoting the mystical goal of generating 100 percent of our electricity from carbon-free energy sources within 10 years. The Alliance for Climate Protection, a nonprofit started by Gore, announced it will allocate $300 million in advertising to promote government action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Should figure a way to siphon off the methane from all this BS in Washington and we all would be set up!
