“Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Hunting”

August 3, 2008

Doug Giles, Townhall.com, tells readers what his top 10 reasons are for loving hunting. The only bad part of this article is we have to wait another day to get the remaining 6 reasons but don’t miss the first four, 10 thru to 7. Here is number nine to give you a taste.

9. Our sport is 99.9% devoid of nasty, whiny man-hating stretch pant wearing mullet sporting anti-American nerve-grating feminists, lesbos and nutty liberals. Yep, around the campfire and in the field the lunatic left’s yarbling is non-existence. Why the absence of the left’s asininity out in the brush? The answer is simple: The tree humpers don’t hunt, which is awesome! For my God and country loving tribe, this makes the air smell fresher, the food taste better, the wine taste sweeter, the buzz last longer, the stars shine brighter, the voice of God clearer, and the trip overwhelmingly blissful with such jackanapes missing from our mix. Yep, the hunting camp is a traditional values paradise.

Ooooooooh! Can’t wait to see six on down to number one. I’ll keep you posted.

Funny… I’m prior military, college educated, left leaning, America-loving atheist; and I think hunting is pretty damn awesome! I think it benefits the environment as a means of conservation, I believe it reconnects a person back to nature, and teaches people where their food comes from. Which is why it sucks that I’d hear some garbage about how rednecks have claimed hunting as their own pastime. Bullshit! Hunting can be enjoyed by anyone–whether liberal or conservative, black or white, Democrat or Republican. Granted, country folk top the cake for hunting, but I can assure you there are many liberal and libertarian folks, including those from the city, out there that enjoy the thrill and taste of a good hunt. I usually just ignore the whiners and limp wristed pansies!! But, don’t lump a particular group of people into hunting… It’s not fair to anyone and it only jeopardizes the future of hunting.

As for as the camp scene, I’d be happy to sit down and shoot the shit over a campfire with some brewskies! But, when you start bringing up the politics bullshit over my dinner, I’ll be quick to tell you to fuck off, my redneck friend! LOL! Hey, it’s all good!

Mountain ridges, blue sky, fresh air, clear water. Animals of all design. Earth in it’s orbit all things in balance.
Although the Bible is replete with incredible miracles, the writers never apologize for them. They simply state and affirm them. However, because believing in such miracles seems rather unsophisticated in our modern world. Does knowing your neighbors and co-workers know you believe such things make you uncomfortable? Do you make excuses for the Bible when the subject arises?
God as the eternal Creator who blesses the righteous and punishes the unrighteous. We who accept God and His revelation agree with that portrait, but many contend that Christians have invented that God. Some go to the extreme of claiming that everyone who is religious has merely postulated their religion or been victimized by some forefather who did. In their opinion there is no supernatural realm.
Ask Him to forgive you for doubting His power and being embarrassed of His truth.

Got something to say?
