Six-Legged Deer
July 28, 2008
Okay! I’ve avoided writing about this little six-legged deer found in Northern Georgia after it had been attacked by dogs but I guess I can’t avoid it any longer. Enough of you have asked for a picture, etc. so here is a video I found on YouTube.
BTW - Do you all remember the photo and short story I posted back in November of 2006 about the five-legged deer? I still have readers leaving comments on that story.

Six legs, talk about luck, tag that bambi and you get four extra leg bones to chew on, and I thought my six-X-six point buck was good luck, shucks, I’d rather have forty more sandwiches to go with my plucked plants and mayo.
Man, I hate to see these aberrations….much less since man steps in and “saves” the critter, that by all accounts should have been eaten by the coyotes, or buzzards, which is the natural nature of what would have happened had not some bleeding heart “saved” his poor suffering life!
Actually hate to see this also because of indications and possibilities for toxic pollution in the water or mineral sites…(makes me wonder what those deer in that area are drinking, and how that effects the meat hunters in that area are eating as well.
Gives pause to the minions of anti-hunters that think deer and animals in the wild, live such an idealic and pain-free life! Compared to a quick bullet or arrow, a life like this one would lead, would be long and painful and not mercifully quick!
I wonder if barium and aluminum would be causeing this.
