“…Endowed By Their Creator With Certain Unalienable Rights”

John Stossel has a piece today about the recent U.S. Supreme Courts ruling in District of Columbia vs. Heller. Stossel points out that many have forgotten, or perhaps never knew, that the Bill of Rights doesn’t give us our rights, it acknowledges them.

The Bill of Rights did not create rights. It acknowledged them. Right before the July 4 holiday, it shouldn’t have been necessary to remind the four Supreme Court dissenters of what Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. … “

In my early analysis of the ruling and taking a look at Justice Antonin Scalia’s majority opinion, I pointed out to readers then that it was Justice Scalia who pointed out the same fact that Stossel has.

Although Justice Scalia didn’t spell out something I find quite important and never considered by most in discussions about the Second Amendment early in his opinion, I would like to bring to your attention this important fact before getting into the highlights of Scalia’s definition.

Scalia points out that the way the Second Amendment is written clearly shows us that our right to keep and bear arms was a recognized, preexisting right long before the Bill of Rights was written. The Second Amendment isn’t a right granted to us by the U.S. Government. The Second Amendment merely recognizes that as free human beings we have that right.

    It’s not unalienable, it is un lien able, got that homer. Now just look at all them Liens against our natural rights out there called commercial “codes” or ” laws”. For example you have a Constitutional Right to travel, yet we surrendered that right for that drivers license and it became a priviledge to travel. Hell in this country you can be pulled over for walking and arrested for having no Identification of your self for the officer to use in Identification of you. Thats a lien buddy. Well these suckers filed liens on our income to friend, how about that one, ha ha. They filed liens on We the Peoples Constitution so they could subject us to their bullshit.

    Then these BSers had the audacity to steal American history from us and twist it to fit their agenda’s of liens against liberty Tom, can you freaking believe it!! If this crap keeps on I will have to register a damn cup of coffee every morning just to wake up with, No wonder we tossed ole Georges Tea into the stinking Harbor, good god almighty.

    Hell man, they got that ole 14th amendment out and wrapped it around our 9th and 10th amendmemts and did a Constitutional Hi-jacking of this country like you can not begin to imagine, shucky darns fellows I was shooting skeeters with Slim Pickens about thirty year back an he told me the whole darn story, ruined my life right then and there.

    Ya see, what they done was about 1868 the lied and said they ratified that 14th amendment, forced it was what they done those dirty buggers, Thats the year federal supremacy was illegally made ” Law of the land ” why heck fella’s that Congress was improperly seated that day too, They made the U.S. citizen via that darned ole Red amendment and here we is today, a bunch of yokel local’s 14th amendment citizens which have no CONSTITUIONAL RIGHTS, Hell boys, they even lied to ya about that civil war to end slavery to help them hide the truth.

    The myth that ” Honest Abe” fought the civil war to end slavery is just that a myth, the 13th amendment closed down the southern plantation and freed negro slaves; the 14th amendment opened the federal plantation to make us all slaves, the relevance of the ” Red Amendemnt” to modern times can not be overstated.

    Oh yea and what was that Lincoln Said in his first inaugural address, takes another shot of Jack and scratches me head, oh here it is fella’s, ” I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I have no lawful right to do so, I have no inclination to do so.” That was March 4th, 1861, first inaugural, hiccup, address.

    Yea right Abe, till them southern boys wooped your northern boys behinds and darn near won that war, you found you some INCLINATION didnt ya. Ha.

    Any way to all you red hearted bastards lying liening my rights and such, well from my cold dead hands right afters I runs outta ammo you kin take ole Betsy.

    I’ll be in heaven a’settin with Slim.

    Fish without water suffer and die. Thus water exists.
    Masters without slaves suffer and die. Thus slaves exist.
    Rights without duties suffer and die. Thus duties exist.
    Right to mug imposes duty to be mugged or risk murder.
    Bill of Rights under Rule of Law got us where we are, today.
