Disney Employee Fired For Challenging Gun Laws

July 6, 2008

Edwin Sotomayer has been a security guard at Disney for 13 years. He has lost that job, at least for now. Florida recently passed a law that permits employees to bring a gun to their workplace providing they keep it locked up in their automobiles while at work. Disney says it is exempt from this law because they store fireworks on property.

Sotomayer commutes over 20 miles to work and he says Orlando has a crime problem and he wants to protect himself during his commute. He challenged Disney’s policy when he arrived at work on Friday, refusing to allow his car to be searched. Four hours into his shift, he was sent home because he refused to cooperate with the investigation Disney says.

WFTV.com has more on the story plus they are running a poll about whether employees should be allowed to bring guns to the workplace.

I think we should never support disney in the future, and further I think exposure of disney would do good for starters, disney is not all it is cracked up to be anyhow, and supports de-sovereignty of America and wishes for a Mickey Mouse New World of Dis-Order, I like to call it Oder myself.

Isn’t this par for the course? Didn’t the Disney company get it’s start in liberal Hollywood, CA.? Hollywood has been trying to dictate our values to us for a long time now. Actually that group of thinkers has gotten away with murder. Knowing what I know about liberal, anti-hunter, anti-gun, anti-American, anti-Capitalist wackos from the Hollywood Elite, this comes as no surprise. Hollywood has been dictating to and brainwashing our children for years now. Isn’t this par for the course?

When I wished upon a star, it made a
difference where I (are) was. At four
years old, I could tell that star was
too far away to do me any good. And I
knew I couldn’t get there or have it
come to me so it was pointless to try. fairy tales.
Thanks, Greg, for the link. It makes
me wonder who is really running the
show. I have visions of Goofie secur-
ing all the iceburgs together with
ropes and stakes while D.Duck is run-
ing after polar bears to count; 3, 4,
    quuaaccckk,quaaccckkk,quaaccckkk. (he
    has lost count again.)
My hat is off to the man for sticking
to his rights while Diseaseney reigns
supreme in wonder land. Good greif.

Sorry about that space. I was star-
ing out the window, again. It must
be time for the Mickey Mouse Club.

Got something to say?
