Duck And Cover! Second Polar Bear Spotted In Iceland

June 17, 2008

The first polar bear in twenty years arrived a few days ago to the shores of Iceland and didn’t have a very good vacation as authorities decided to shoot and kill the bear. Controversy followed.

A second bear has found its way to the country and he better run for cover if he knows what’s good for him.

It’s amazing how intelligent and adaptive these Marine Mammals really are. Could it be that they let their instincts run their lives rather than emotions?

This makes me wonder if at one time during the last ICE AGE you could have walked from Norway to New England on the ice? Maybe the land bridge between Siberia and Alaska was really only made of ice?

This article leads me to think there may be more interesting chapters ahead.

Got something to say?
