Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, “Most Discredited, Fringe, Extreme Viewpoints”

May 22, 2008

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has decided the state will sue the U.S. Federal Government on its decision to list the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. In response to Gov. Palin’s announcement, this is the response from Kassie Siegel from the Center for Biological Diversity, one of the organizations suing the U.S. Federal Government to go further in its listing and declare that man made global warming is melting the sea ice and steps need to be taken to stop global warming.

As reported by the Associated Press:

“She’s either grossly misinformed or intentionally misleading, and both are unbecoming,” said Kassie Siegel of the Center for Biological Diversity. “Alaska deserves better.”

Siegel said it was unconscionable for Palin to ignore overwhelming evidence of global warming’s threat to sea ice, the polar bear’s habitat.

“Even the Bush administration can’t deny the reality of global warming,” she said. “The governor is aligning herself and the state of Alaska with the most discredited, fringe, extreme viewpoints by denying this.”

Governor Palin is a hero in my book and I applaud her efforts. I’m glad to have her on my side of the “discredited, fringe, extreme” viewers of global warming.

Hugh Hewitt also applauds Palin’s action.

    Thanks, Tom.

I guess all one has to do is say
so, and they know everything. All
they have to do is say whatever they
like and dump it in the lap of the
intended victim to Defend Against it.
    Worms in a worm-bed.
Sarah Palin stepped up to the plate while everyone else watches.
    Chickens! Scaredie-cats! And Gutless.

Not only does she have courage and pluck and integrity, but she’s the best looking governor I’ve ever laid eyes on! Hat’s off, lady!

will the listing do any thing to fix the loss of ice?
or is it just another it don’t have any adverseffect on me so why not list the polar bear
they just want to tell some one what is best for ther state.
if the bear was to drop of the face of the earth today most of us will go on living so let Alaska run Alaska and let the fed see if they can fix voteing in fla.

There is a problem with global warming, it stooped in 1998. It snowed all around me today, I just fired up the fire box, I wore long handles at work today all day, still am. But the Elite crowd need the global warming scam to put into action plans from The Iron Mountain Report to help usher in global Governance. This Kassie Siegel is just another dumbed down sheep playing follow the shepard and his sheep dogs. Funny how this crap global balony warming has never been decided by a consensus or a majority vote. I missed the majority vote on Polar bear Protections by the ESA to. Dirty Dick voted for us I guess. I hope Alaska’s governer is the real deal and not just another controlled opposame playing the game for show.

“A U.S. Geological Survey study completed last year as part of the petition process predicted polar bears in Alaska could be wiped out by 2050.”
Since when has the USGS taken to predictions for polar bears? Isn’t there some false logic here? (quote taken from google news on the AP article)
From what I’ve read on polar bears, they are adaptable and interbreed with brown, grizzlys in overlaping ranges..I imagine that they will survive no matter what the ice does, and what we think we can do about it!

Kassie Siegal of the Center for
Biological Diversity said she’s either grossly misinformed or inten-
tionally misleading, and both are un-
becoming. Is it alright to ommit
punctuation, or is there more to it than that?

It’s my understanding that now they’ve determined that we could be going into a cooling trend instead of warming. So now they are calling it CLIMATE CHANGE. They claim that the 31,000 scientists that disagree with the Goreacle are not weather scientists so they are not qualified to make a judgment. Well the only weather scientists that I know of are called Weather Men or Weather People and they are known as Meteorologists. Now we all know how reliable their predictions are because all they predict is change from one day to the next. The weather has been changing as long as I can remember. So what’s the big deal? I’m sorry, but the Polar Bears are alot more adaptable than the human race. They’ll still be here when all of us are long gone. Years ago an old Navy Chief told me that when he went to the South Pole as a Cartographers Mate with Admiral Byrd, that they discovered there had been tropics there. Kind of looks to me like this old Chief knew what he was talking about.
I’ll give three cheers for Governor Sarah Palin for trying to knock some sense into their heads. From what I can see, I’d say she has a bright future. She has the right attitude.

Bottom line, with Palin as VP, McCain WINS.

Without Palin, McCain likely does not win.

    Case closed.
