What They Didn’t Tell You About Wolf Recovery

Posted by Tom Remington on May 19, 2008

Wolves in IdahoI have been meaning for some time now to get this information available for readers. I apologize that it has taken so long.

The Outdoorsman, a print publication out of Idaho and published and edited by George Dovel, is one of the most informative publications available to outdoor sportsmen today. Granted much of the material focuses on Idaho and the surrounding areas of Montana and Wyoming, much of what you can find in this magazine can and does apply to many other areas as well.

In the January, February, March, 2008, Bulletin Number 26 of the Outdoorsman, Dovel includes a nine-page information-packed article entitled, “What They Didn’t Tell You About Wolf Recovery”. If you would like a comprehensive read about facts and information not made public before about the efforts of recovering the gray wolf in the Western Rockies, I have made this portion of the Outdoorsman available to you in a pdf format. George Dovel has been kind enough to grant me permission to make this available to readers.

Here are some highlights you’ll find in the article:

1). Information about early discussions on how many wolves would be enough wolves to sustain a population.

2). From early on in discussions, wildlife ecologists Dr. Charles Kay, said that Idaho, Montana and Wyoming would need a total of 1,500 wolves in all three states. Information suggests that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and perhaps state fish and game departments knew making that number public would cause too much opposition to reintroduction.

3). Idaho Fish and Game has no plan to reduce wolf numbers, only to maintain current levels.

4). Information that suggests that Idaho’s wolf management policy violates state laws.

5). Related studies from Denali National Park in Alaska on wolves.

6). Secretly selected scientists used to influence Congress. (More on Delphi 15 the Con Job)

7). How wolves would impact other wildlife populations based on false information.

8). Committee members involved in wolf reintroduction believed it was acceptable to lie to the public in order to carry out the agenda.

9). Idaho state law prohibits entering into agreement with the U.S. Government concerning wolves unless this has been authorized by state statute.

10). Wolf subspecies criteria changed in order to meet requirements for reintroduction under the Endangered Species Act.

11). Pen-raised wolves released in the Southwest United States.

12). Ignoring existing wolves except for known breeding pairs in order to keep official population estimates low. Other tactics used in order to hide real wolf populations and the impacts they are having. Wolves in “wilderness” areas not counted and are managed differently. (More on the “Fuzzy Math” used in calculating numbers)

13). Formulas used to calculate minimum numbers of wolves in specific area would put wolf densities as high as three times that of Alasaka’s Denali National Park.

The article, “What They Didn’t Tell You About Wolf Recovery” is nine pages in pdf format. It’s worth reading with loads of very interesting information.

    Thanks, Tom. It sure is.

Thanks for the link. I’ll check it out. Living in Idaho, myself, this is a constant frustrating thing to deal with - that is only made more frustrating by the fact that we shouldn’t be having to deal with it at all.

George Dovel is a fabulous advocate for those of us who care about the realities of what is going on with our outdoors. He seeks and exposes the truth and realities behind everything and is invaluable to our heritage.

“What they didnt tell you about wolf Recovery” is they new all along how this would turnout. This nonsense wolf program combined with the over selling of controlled elk and deer tags for non-antlered game starting 8-9 years ago has wasted over 70 years of big game management which took place in Idaho since the over protection of the couger in those days of Elmer Keith, Bill Ruger and Edgar Rice Burroughs whom hunted Idaho a lot back then, and Keith mentions Idaho Fish and Game re-introducing elk because of the mistake of over protection of the couger back then, In his book Hell I was There. Here we are again, elk are dying out, deer are to, and those wolves are gonna starve, because our so-called “experts” have their heads up their ASS.

And another little exposed agenda of the enviro tools calling themselves global warming carbon foot print demons and wolf loveing gun hating and gun grabbing bastards… How did all this whale shit get on shore?

Greg, that was an interesting, but full of holes, article. Interesting postulate, but I’m not buying the hypothesis..I’ve looked at a number of plat books and known all too many owners, myself. You know you have to buy what they’re saying to begin with, if you follow their reasoning to the end!

  9. Greg Farber Says:

    Jes,

Actually Darren weeks and Sweet Liberty are pretty accurate, I of course can find things with their expose’s that are lacking as well, like in depth studies and money trails and such, leading to the real smoking guns at the U.N. and Agenda 21, among others. And I realize Darren could not look at all counties plot books Nation wide, neither did I, But this stuff is happening, especially out west here. We have 200 acres and a family member was recently charged with obstruction and other lies when he found the forest service in the middle of our land helping themselves about the place un-guided-supervised and no permission to be there at all, well $10,000 later and one years probation for re-moving them from the private property told us what we needed to know, we got no damn private property. Folks in New Mexico can not even shoot a wolf on their private lands to protect their own property. Im sure every county is different. Much of what Darren Weeks has claimed in the link, and my personal experiances and research is happening. Why the heck do you think I do all the darned research for? It is about a big zero on the fun meter. Their the same folks who want to disarm us. In Idaho we trade property back and forth but their is no new properties available. In this county alone Americans have been sueing for over 14 years for the rights to sub-devide lands for further development, all to the big NO by the county commissioners. All based on the lies of water shortages, global warming, and energy problems. Oh and lets not forget lands needed for wolfie. Our herds out here, Elk and Deer are and other critters are suffering big time due to Wolves. Well we all know these bastards stole American Tax dollars for this wolf program, just see the blog by Jim Beers, I think Remington posted it here?? Any body can scan a web site page and poo poo it Jes, did you read Agenda 21? did you investigate? do some follow up? Here let me give you another clue, and after you poo poo that one I got a few hundred more, just hang in there buddy I will get you to the bottom line soon….Read What Hari Heath went thru:
