Open Air With Tom Remington
December 13, 2007
I’m extending an invitation to all readers to tune in at 3 p.m. today to Skinny Moose Radio and listen to a brand new broadcast of Open Air With Tom Remington. Once again the topics are varied but I think you’ll find them interesting. I will give you all a bit of a warning though. In the second segment of the show, I play a CD with some Maine humor on it. It’s called, “Mistah Man”. It’s done as a hip-hop rap kind of thing with some pretty serious Maine accents to go with it – they sound genuine too! You, know, wicked good! The warning comes because at times these guys use a few cuss words that probably aren’t suitable for family listening.
I give a short tribute to the late Evel Knievel, reveal some more interesting and disgusting events surrounding global warming. Of course the latest from Al Gore’s mouth is, “The earth has a fever!” Cute! And a visit to the doctor’s will cost us American’s billions of dollars.
And for those who thought they were over it, once again the subject of Sunday hunting is surfacing as Pennsylvania prepares for a debate again in this legislative session. I share some facts and figures about that debate as the remaining 10 states that ban Sunday hunting will be paying attention.
So join me today for all the fun and excitement. If you haven’t downloaded the Skinny Moose Media tool bar for your browser yet, it’s time (just click on the “download our free toolbar” link). The Skinny Moose Radio player is built right in. While you’re browsing you can listen in to several of our regular shows or to some of the great music we also play. Then, while listening, you can do your normal browsing.
And if you can’t tune in at 3 p.m. every Thursday, as always we make the shows available for you to listen to at any time.
