Black Bear Blog Readers Not Jumping For Joy Over Their Fish And Game Departments
Posted by Tom Remington on October 3, 2007
A while ago, we began another Black Bear Blog “unscientific” poll to see what readers thought about their own state’s fish and game departments. We received 172 votes, which is far from being the most participation we’ve ever had and somewhat surprising, votes were spread everywhere but percentages seem to indicate that 68% of readers thought their fish and game departments were middle of the road or worse.
In all honesty, that didn’t surprise me. In my travels I have discovered that most people’s opinion of fish and game is not the greatest. Bear in mind here that this poll is not scientific in any way and is only a polling of blog readers opting to participate.
Only 15% or 25 voters rated their fish and game the best compared to 23% or 39 voters rating their fish and game the worst.
Here’s the poll results:
How would you rate your state’s fish and game department? 5 being the best.
* 5: 15% (25)
* 4: 17% (30)
* 3: 22% (38)
* 2: 23% (40)
* 1: 23% (39)Total Votes : 172
Thank you for joining in the fun and make sure you take a few seconds and participate in the current poll that you’ll find to the right.

there as low as 75% off sticker price.
