Fewer People Hunting And Fishing
June 17, 2007
Newsweek reports on the preliminary findings of the survey sponsored by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on how many people are hunting and fishing over the last 5 years. The full report will be released in November but initially it indicates that fishing numbers dropped 12 percent since 2001 and hunting 4 percent.
In short it seems only sensible that these numbers would drop when you discover the biggest reasons. It’s like realizing that if you start eliminating professional baseball teams, it would only stand to reason that fewer people will go watch.
