New Jersey Coyote Escapes Cops Assault With 9mm
June 5, 2007
As part of the ongoing takeover of a New Jersey community by coyotes, one lucky varmint was able to escape two bullets fired by a Middletown police officer from his 9mm pistol. His chief assured residents that the officer put nobody in danger by discharging his weapon.
To prove the difficulty in controlling and managing the coyote, officials in New Jersey have had virtually no success in trapping and/or shooting of these critters as residents in the Middletown area hide in their homes fearful of more attacks.
The saga continues.
