Man Invents Hunting Wheelchair

April 24, 2007

This is pretty cool stuff. A North Dakota man who had his left leg amputated, has converted a wheelchair into an all-terrain hunting vehicle. KXMB has the story.

You know, Pete. It’s funny you should mention that. When I was making reference to the article, I thought about the same thing. I was never one to say much of anything one way or the other about ATV’s until I found out how helpful it was for me in getting around better because of a partial disability.

    Hi,
I wanted to tell you about a website I jsut found it’s in wyoming. It is called http://www.chairboundhunters.com and it is about a group that helps chairbound hunters to fulfill hunting dreams they have. It sounds like a great organization.

Hey KIWI how did you get the dogs off the pig before they got cut up? How did you bowl the pig over to tie it up? If you didn’t keep it alive how did you kill it? I thought the Maori way was to climb a tree above the trail, jump on the pigs back poke it in the jugular let it run off and bleed to death. I know the land of the long white cloud is full of Jokers, I was wondering if you know Joe King right?

Got something to say?
