Ever Seen This Before?

I got this photo in with a bunch of others today and thought it unusual enough to put up here for others to see. I’ve never seen this sort of thing before. Have you?

Antler Tine Through Deer Skull
I am going to assume that this is another tine from antler. Perhaps this is the result of some serious fighting. Thoughts?

    There was a picture of what is supposed to be the buck before it was skinned. Don’t know much more than that.

    This pic was shown on Mosseyoak.com with others of the same deer just after it was shot and later when in transit.
    Nothing showed but an odd bump. The surprise came when they caped it for a mount. It had a nice rack!
