Colorado Amends Voucher System

Some in Colorado say the state’s big game voucher system has turned into a huge money making scandal that is limiting the opportunities of locals and the not so wealthy to hunt. In short, before the amendments, a landowner who received a hunting voucher was free to sell it to whomever he chose. The same voucher could be sold several times over garnering as much as $15,000.
New rules say a voucher can only be sold by the landowner one time to the actual person who will do the hunting. As with most rule changes, some see it as good and others see it as bad.
