Where I live if you are tracking a deer and have to leave it over night, most or the time you will find bones and a head the next morning. This happened to two I shot with a bow this year.
With the number of wolves and coyotes out there more hunters will shoot them given a chance.
I, like many hunters think there should be a limited harvest of wolves starting now.
If hunters are shooting this many now there are plenty to harvest.
