Plenty Of Moose Bagged In New Brunswick
October 3, 2006
Officials with the New Brunswick, Canada Department of Natural Resources are reporting a 23% increase in the number of moose taken this year compared to last year. Preliminary registration data shows that 2,362 moose have been registered compared to just over 2,000 last season.
The biggest increase came in the southern half of the Province with a 35% jump. Officials attribute the added success to good weather and the timing of the hunt coincided with the rut.
Official results will not be available for a few more weeks.

WTF?! Is this supposed to be a joke?
It’s true there’s alot of moose in New Brunswick! Just three days ago while driving on a local company road we came across two big cows, then a bear ran across the road, and then we saw and called two eight point bulls. It was a lucky trip!
