Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf

Bill Cochran, outdoor writer for the Roanoke Times in Virginia, has his article out and it’s full of tons of great information. A report or I should say a rumor with a picture is floating around of a wolf killed on Cole’s Mountain. It seems that one official says that hybrid wolves were stocked in the region to reduce the coyote population. These hybrid wolves were to have been spayed or neutered but apparently this particular wolf was neither. Another official denies that any such program exists.
